all natural bug spray

summer is officially in full swing over here in knoxville, tn. its HOT AS HELL and when i sit on my screened in porch, i can literally see mosquitoes beating on the screen trying to get to me. i would say that i HATE them but that would seriously be an understatement. as a natural light photographer i am always outside for my shoots and i can't handle getting drilled every night. SO…. HERES MY NATURAL BUG SPRAY RECIPE! 

i bought my mist bottle  from amazon for $8. i'm sure they have some at the dollar store if you wanted something even cheaper. but i wanted the amber glass to help preserve the oils. plus, lets be serious, its really cute. so heres my recipe for this 14 oz bottle:

• 7 oz of witch hazel

• 10 drops of the following oils:

eucalyptus

patchouli

lavender

spearmint

peppermint

tea tree

purification

geranium

rosemary

lemon

THATS IT! most of the oils can be found in the young living premium starter kit, which i talk about in another blog here. And in case you're wondering, it smells amazing!
